For parties of 25 guests or more,
there is no room charge at The Calvert House Inn. For parties of 25 or less, there is a $50 room
fee. The original banquet room can seat from 20 to 65 guests. The banquet room
(or "middle room"), features round tables and can seat 25 to 70 guests.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of your reservation. This amount will be deducted from your final bill, on the day of your event. If you should have to cancel, you may use the deposit to reschedule or you may receive a full refund, if your cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the event. Deposits are forfeited for parties cancelled in less than 48 hours notice.
A dinner plan selection and an estimated guest count is due at the time of your deposit, which will secure your room. Final entrée selection is due one week in advance and final guest count is due 72 hours before the event.
An 18% gratuity and a 5% Maryland sales tax will be added to your bill.
The rooms are available for three hours during lunch and four hours during dinner. Lunch banquets may take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dinner banquets may take place between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Friday and Saturday evenings may be in use for live music, so please make sure
to check your date in advance.

We cater to events of 20 or more people, or up to a $300.00 minimum.
We rent china, silverware, tablecloths, linen napkins, tableware, etc.
Uniformed wait staff and bus persons are available for an 18% gratuity.
Bartenders are available at a $10/hour.
A 30% deposit and signed contract is due upon agreement.
If you are tax-free, please have your tax-free code available.
Paper products are available free of charge and are dropped off with the food. Event handlers are responsible for clean up of these items, and not the Calvert House Inn.
Payment is due on the date of the event. Please inform us if you need an invoice, so that we may send this to you in a proper amount of time.
Payments may be made over the phone with a credit card. We accept all major credit cards.
A $50.00 delivery fee is applied for orders under $300.00.
